My submission for the Manifest 2007 postcard competition (no, it didn't win). I originally didn't intend to enter, but a few days before the deadline I got hit with this crack idea, so decided to run with it as a bit of a joke.
The concept is a sort of spin-off of the game Katamari Damacy (which I've never played, being no gamer - but the fact that a n00b like myself even knows about it proves its cult status, IMO)... basically you roll this ball-type thing around and it picks up stuff, and the aim of the game is to pick up enough stuff to make a star. Uh, yes. So this is the otaku version, featuring various otaku paraphenalia, including a bastardized version of Manifest's mascot, Peppa-chan. XD This was TONNES of fun to do (can you tell?), though trying to draw the ball-thing in some form of perspective was a bit of a bitch.  EDIT: This was later to be used as the Manifest poster (with modifications). |

*laugh* Thanks, but to be honest I'm more peeved about not winning the mascot competition, rather than the postcard (ahaha, I sound so arrogant!) - mainly because it interefered with my plans to um, revolutionize the otaku scene by um... drawing a not-so-girly mascot? =_=;; Oh, I fail at life.
